Chiswick - Crafting Love in Nature!

Love has truly taken root in our forest this past week as we celebrated Valentine's Week with a whirlwind of fun and engaging activities! Our forest was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed lots of new holiday campers, each bringing their own unique energy to our woodland haven.

🍃Crafting Love in Nature:

We embraced the spirit of Valentine's by stitching heart-shaped leaves and creating a magnificent heart on the ground using a tapestry of leaves and pink petals. It was a labour of love, and the end result was simply enchanting.

☕️ Pink Love Brews and Snacks:

Our forest mud kitchen was abuzz with the scent of pink love coffees, made with sawdust, pink food colouring and water. Paired with delicious snacks, it was the perfect treat to warm our hearts on chilly forest mornings.

💕 Valentine's Day:

Valentine's Day was a day to remember, with pink love drinks, heart-shaped leaf wraps, and love potions conjured up in our mud kitchen. Laughter and joy filled the air as we celebrated love in all its forms.

🌿 Adventure Awaits:

Every day was an adventure as we explored different parts of the forest. From watching swans by the lake to splashing in puddles and discovering the Gruffalo's house, there was never a dull moment. Our strong legs carried us over bridges and down slides, with each step filled with wonder and discovery.

🎨 Crafting Memories:

We adorned ourselves with heart-shaped necklaces made from multi-coloured wool and elder beads, each one a testament to our creativity and craftsmanship. Our little artisans beamed with pride at their beautiful creations.

❤️ Sharing Love and Kindness:

We took time to reflect on what love means to us and how we can show kindness to one another. In our forest community, love isn't just a feeling; it's a way of life.

🪓 Mastering Woodworking:

Our older adventurers rose to the challenge of woodworking, crafting their own mallets with skill and determination. With each swing of the hammer, they not only shaped wood but also forged memories that will last a lifetime.

As we bid farewell to Valentine's Week, let's carry the spirit of love and kindness with us wherever we go. Until next time, may your days be filled with the wonders of the forest and the warmth of friendship.
