Fulham - Unicorn Day!

We have enjoyed our final week having the best time with our holiday campers! The children absolutely loved celebrating unicorn day - we created an amazing model unicorn in camp which the little ones were able to climb and practice their balance on.

Some great target-practice games have had the children practising their throwing abilities, challenging our little adventurers with different sized holes to throw the beanbags through. This was also a great way to incorporate numbers into our play, as different amounts of points were rewarded for different sized hoops.

Some tool work has also taken place this week, using the bow saws to saw some branches and create some musical instruments out of them. We also had a great time hammering in some lids with nails that we have been collecting.

Working on our fine motor skills we have enjoyed some bead-threading, which some of our Little Forest Folk-ers have found challenging, but with some great persistence from our little ones and lots of practise, we must say they made some brilliant progress and have created some lovely, colourful bracelets and necklaces throughout the week.

We here at Fulham would love to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to Karlenne who is sadly leaving us to embark on her next adventure within the Little Forest Folk community. Karlenne, the team here at Fulham cannot thank you enough for all the amazing hard work you have put in to help make our Fulham nursery as wonderful as it is today! Carry on shining and being the amazing superstar you are. Fulham will miss you!
