As our learning intention has been ‘Understanding the World’, this week has been full of scientific enquiry, investigation and deep dives into how things work 🌿☀️ 

The children created a natural wildlife pond in the hope of attracting some frogs, dragonflies - or maybe even a newt friend! 🐸🪷 We talked about the importance of natural spaces for animals and how we can use our understanding of animal adaptations to design environments that support their needs.

This week has been an important one, full of all kinds of emotions as we waved off some of our leavers onto their summer of fun before their new adventure at big school. We celebrated children’s final forest days in our usual forest ways, dancing, investigating and exploring.
